MY STORY OF BECOMING A MUM FOR THE THIRD TIME

Three times a mummy

Coping with 3

on July 3, 2013

People keep asking me how I am finding having 3 children

I feel like I am juggling 3 very delicate balls

I am constantly having to access the needs of the mini-men, prioritise the most important need and try to keep the other boys happy whilst not attending to them

Yesterday I was changing Charlie’s nappy and wet clothes (we have started using cloth nappies, they aren’t as absorbent as disposables!), Oliver was crying to be fed and Jack was nagging me to draw some windows on his cardboard box aeroplane, it’s hard explaining to a 3 (almost 4) year old that his need isn’t the most important, I don’t want him to think that he isn’t important

How do I make him understand? Is it possible to teach a preschooler patience?
